Top Tigers pitching prospect Jackson Jobe impresses in MLB debut

Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Jackson Jobe wasn't even expected to reach the majors until next season, but now finds himself in the thick of a playoff race.

This will likely be the last time you hear from me… until Sunday! I’m taking a few days off to head to Atlanta (weather permitting) with my daughter to see the rock band The Warning. They’re a trio of sisters from Mexico, and they rock! We’re hoping everything goes smoothly and Hurricane Helene is kind to us, but of course, safety comes first with this storm.

On the baseball front, I’ve caught Tiger fever, and it’s been a lot of fun—it feels real this time!

Last night, their top pitching prospect, Jackson Jobe, made his debut to the delight of the home crowd. It was an exciting moment for the team and for Jobe, who was drafted out of high school and reached the majors in less than three seasons!
