Charlotte Checkers fend off Hershey Bears, take 1-0 lead in AHL playoff series

Hi, everyone!

Last night, I covered Game 1 of the Atlantic Division Finals between the Checkers of Charlotte and the Hershey Bears. It was a really fun game! Playoff hockey, even at the AHL level, definitely delivers.

This was a classic back-and-forth hockey game with lots of exciting moments and a very tense final minute. Plus, the game-winning goal came from something very unexpected.
